Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) is a primary exocrine pancreatic tumor that almost always occurs in the head of the pancreas and uncinate process and arises within pancreatic conductors, characterized by the proliferation of mucinous neoplastic cells, which form papillae and cause dilation of the main duct or its branches
