Abstract
Ovarian cancer spleen metastases are uncommon. The case of a 62-year-old patient is presented, consultation for stitch-like abdominal pain in the left hypochondrium, the same operation as an annex total hysterectomy 1 year ago with definitive histopathological report of moderate to poorly differentiated infiltrating adenocarcinoma grade II to III of right ovary. Ultrasound: enlarged spleen with nodular image inside; CT scan: enlargement of the spleen at the expense of parenchymal lesion. Videolaparoscopic splenectomy is performed. Pathological anatomy: poorly differentiated epithelioid tumors. Conclusion: in the treatment of spleen metastases, as the only site of metastases, laparoscopic surgery is indicated to avoid complications.
