Abstract
Pneumoperitoneum is a radiological sign defined as free air in the abdominal cavity. It is usually a surgery indication. We report a liver resection for colorrectal metastases (previously resected). Patient was discharged without complications, but at 6th day postoperative he was admitted to Hospital for fever and cough. No abdominal patological signs were identificated. In radiological tests, pneumoperitoneum was diagnosed. Conservative management was iniciated with satisfactory results. Patint was discharged at 5th day without clinical symptons.
