Abstract
Differentiated cancer is the most common form of thyroid cancer and includes papillary and follicular carcinoma, which are usually associated with an excellent prognosis. The presence of distant metastases in differentiated thyroid cancer is uncommon, occurring in less than 10% of patients. When it happens, survival to 10 years of difficult evolution. The clinical manifestations due to metastases are rare, and at the bone level they present as deformity or pain.
