Abstract

The aim of our paper is to present the management of two patients presenting with mesh exposure, using negative pressure therapy. The presence of a prosthetic material in a surgical wound, such as a polypropylene mesh, does not contraindicate the use of negative pressure therapy. On the contrary, it favors healing without the need of surgical removal of the mesh.
